NYC Comedy Picks for Saturday 10/17/15

Josie Long

Thoroughly delightful UK comic Josie Long is gracing NYC with a solo show today through October 25th, and you should most certainly see it. Why? Because within just the past 24 hours, she tweeted "I ordered a Bernie Sanders t-shirt for my friend like, months ago, and it hasn't come, and now I am disillusioned with socialism." Josie also once said (am paraphrasing) "If you're low on cash and have to choose between a meal and a book, always go for the book." Where else are you going to receive such wisdom? To get a taste, view Josie's 2012 one-woman show by clicking here; and then grab tickets for her current extravagaza (which I'll be eagerly seeing on Tuesday): Josie Long: Cara Josephine (5:00 pm, $25, West Village's Soho Playhouse at 15 Vandam Street)...
